About
A working library of Chinese reference charts — published for the shops that sell them.
KnowPoster began as a print workshop making dynastic timelines for a handful of museum shops. Those first four charts are still in the range; they are now a small part of it. Today the library runs from history timelines and imperial maps to star charts and the twenty-four solar terms, from the Book of Changes and the classical philosophers to Tang and Song poetry, calligraphy, medicine, porcelain and traditional ornament. What has not changed is what retailers ask us for — honest minimums, and colour that matches the last order.
How we work
Every piece is printed, stretched and framed in the same facility. That matters for colour: we profile each stock and hold reference samples for every SKU, so a reorder eighteen months later matches the original run within a tolerance you cannot see on a wall.
We publish our minimums and our tiers because the alternative wastes your time. If a number is not on this site, it is because we have not decided it yet — not because we are holding it back for a negotiation.
New subjects are added every quarter. If you stock a category we do not cover yet, tell us — a good part of the range exists because a retailer asked for it.
What we do not do
We do not sell retail, we do not run a consumer storefront, and we do not compete with the shops we supply. We also do not quote a price we cannot hold for the length of a production run.
We are not the cheapest option in this category. If your only criterion is unit cost at any quantity, there are larger factories that will beat us. We are built for retailers who reorder.

Bank transfer to a company account only — never a personal account. Your first order is reviewed by a person before it enters production.
