Shipping & freight
Framed art is light and bulky, so freight is billed on chargeable weight. We show both weights and the rate before you pay — there is no separate freight invoice later unless your order needs palletising.

Economy freight is included on orders of $3,500 or more. Timings are business days from dispatch, not from order.
Chargeable weight
Carriers bill on whichever is greater: actual weight, or volumetric weight. Volumetric weight is calculated as length × width × height in centimetres, divided by 5,000.
A 24 × 36 framed canvas weighs about 2.9 kg but packs at roughly 5.9 kg volumetric, so the freight bill is driven by the 5.9 kg figure. Adding units up to the next volumetric threshold often costs nothing extra in freight.
Worked example
63 × 93 × 5 cm ÷ 5,000 = 5.86 kg volumetric
Actual weight = 2.90 kg
Chargeable = 5.86 kg
Packing & protection
Framed pieces ship in fitted cartons with corner protectors and foam channel. Large formats use a knocked-down frame system that assembles in about two minutes with no tools, which keeps the volumetric weight — and your freight bill — down.
Unframed prints ship flat in rigid sleeves, bundled by the case pack. Sets are packed in a single rigid box with individual sleeves.
Orders above 150 kg chargeable move as palletised freight. Those are quoted manually and confirmed by email before production starts — they are usually cheaper per unit than parcel rates.
Customs & documentation
Included with every order
Commercial invoice, packing list, HS coding and certificate of origin where required. Prepared in-house, so your broker does not need to chase us.
Duties and taxes
Shipments are DAP — import duties and taxes are payable by the consignee. Provide your VAT or resale number at checkout and we will include it on the paperwork.
Restricted destinations
We ship worldwide except where carrier or sanctions restrictions apply. If your country is not listed at checkout, email us and we will quote a routed option.
Damages
Photograph the carton and the piece within seven days of delivery and send both with your order number. We replace damaged units free of charge, including freight, and do not ask for the damaged goods back unless we need them for a carrier claim.
