Wholesale FAQ
Questions we get asked
If something is not covered here, email mofastory@163.com and you will get an answer from a person, not a form response.
Account & pricing
Why do I need an account to see prices?
Our wholesale tiers are contract pricing for resellers, so they are only shown to verified trade accounts. Guests see suggested retail — sign in with a business email and the full tier table appears immediately. There is no approval wait and no credit check.
Is there a fee to open an account?
No. Accounts are free, there is no minimum spend commitment, and you can close one at any time by emailing us.
Can several people at my company use one account?
Yes. Email us the additional names and business email addresses and we will attach them to the same company profile, sharing order history and saved SKUs.
Ordering & minimums
What is the minimum order?
The minimum order is 50 units per SKU across all 14 SKUs, from the smallest print to the largest format. Your cart also needs at least 12 units in total before checkout, and the cart flags any line below its minimum before you can check out.
Do I have to order in multiples of the case pack?
No. The case pack is 1 unit on every SKU, so there is no inner-pack multiple to round up to and any quantity from the minimum upward is accepted. Charts are dispatched in rigid, corner-protected cartons regardless of quantity.
How do the three price tiers work?
Each SKU has three quantity breaks. The cart applies the correct tier automatically and tells you how many more units unlocks the next break. If it says the higher tier costs less overall, it does — buying up sometimes beats buying less.
My first order is being reviewed. How long does that take?
First orders are checked by a person before release to production, usually within one business day. It is a fraud and specification check, not a credit check. You can amend quantities for free until the order is released.
Shipping & freight
How is freight calculated?
On chargeable weight — the greater of actual and volumetric weight (L × W × H cm ÷ 5,000) — using published zone rates. The cart shows both weights, the zone rate and the transit estimate before you pay.
When is freight free?
Economy freight is included on orders of $3,500 or more. Below that, freight is shown as a line item at checkout rather than added afterwards.
Who pays duties and import taxes?
Shipments are sent DAP — duties and import taxes are payable by the consignee. We prepare the commercial invoice and HS coding so your broker can clear the shipment without chasing us for paperwork.
What are the lead times?
Standard production is about 7 business days after payment or transfer confirmation; each product page states the lead time for that SKU.
Payments
Which payment methods do you accept?
Card payments through Stripe (Visa, Mastercard, Amex and wallets), PayPal, and bank transfer. Orders above $2,000 are routed to bank transfer automatically.
Why is my large order bank transfer only?
Card processing fees on orders above $2,000 are significant, and large orders usually need a specification check anyway. We email banking details and a proforma invoice, then hold your stock until the transfer is confirmed.
Do you offer credit terms?
Invoice terms of Net 30 days are available to approved accounts with 1 completed order and satisfactory references. Ask your trade contact once that order is fulfilled and we will review it.
Damages & returns
What if something arrives damaged?
Photograph the carton and the piece within seven days of delivery and email the images with your order number. We replace damaged units free of charge, including freight, and do not require the damaged goods back unless we ask.
Can I return saleable stock?
Custom and made-to-order pieces are non-returnable. Standard catalogue stock can be returned within 30 days in resaleable condition, subject to a 15% restocking fee, with freight at your cost. Contact us before sending anything back.
What is your colour tolerance?
We hold reference samples for every SKU and check each run against them. Slight variation between production runs is normal for printed and hand-finished work; if a reorder does not sit acceptably beside your existing stock, tell us and we will make it right.
Still deciding?
Order a mixed sample pack — three to five SKUs at their minimum — and judge the finish yourself before committing to a full range.
