Terms of sale
Effective 14 September 2026.
1. Scope
These terms govern all sales by Knowposter to trade buyers through this storefront. By placing an order you confirm you are purchasing for resale or business use, not as a consumer.
2. Accounts
Wholesale pricing is shown only to verified trade accounts. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend an account used for retail arbitrage that harms our retail partners.
3. Prices, minimums and tiers
Prices are in USD unless you switch to EUR, and exclude freight and any duties or taxes unless stated. Each SKU carries a minimum order quantity and a case pack; the cart enforces both before checkout. Tier prices apply automatically at the qualifying quantity in a single order and are not aggregated across multiple orders.
4. Orders and first-order review
An order is an offer to buy. A contract forms when we accept it — for card and PayPal orders, at payment capture; for bank transfer, when we confirm stock and issue a proforma invoice. First orders are reviewed manually before release to production, and may be amended or declined during that review, with a full refund if declined.
5. Payment
Card payments are processed by Stripe and PayPal payments by PayPal. Orders of $2,000 or more are confirmed by bank transfer against a proforma invoice. Production starts after payment or transfer confirmation.
6. Production and delivery
Standard lead time is about 7 business days from confirmation, as stated on each product page. Transit estimates are business days from dispatch and are estimates, not guarantees — we are not liable for carrier delays outside our control.
7. Freight, risk and customs
Shipments are DAP: risk passes on delivery to the address you provide, and import duties and taxes are payable by you. Freight is estimated on chargeable weight. Where an order requires palletised freight we confirm the final cost before production.
8. Inspection and damages
Inspect goods on arrival. Report damage within seven days of delivery with photographs of the carton and the piece; we replace damaged units free of charge, including freight.
9. Cancellation and returns
Orders may be cancelled free of charge before production starts. Made-to-order and custom pieces are non-returnable. Standard catalogue stock may be returned within 30 days in resaleable condition, subject to a 15% restocking fee and return freight at your cost. Contact us before sending anything back.
10. Warranty and liability
We warrant goods are free from material defects in materials and workmanship for 12 months from delivery. Our liability is limited to the value of the defective goods. We exclude indirect and consequential loss to the extent permitted by law.
11. Intellectual property
Artwork remains our property or that of our licensors. Purchase grants the right to resell the physical goods, not to reproduce the artwork.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which we are established. Nothing here limits rights you cannot waive under the law of your country of establishment.
