A line sheet is not a catalogue. It is a working document, and it is meant to be read in a specific order. Read it front to back and you will be drawn to the photography; read these eight fields and you will know within ten minutes whether the range fits.

The eight fields that matter

  1. SKU — a structured code tells you the format, size and design at a glance, which saves you a lot of confusion on reorders.
  2. Unit dimensions with tolerances. A 50 × 70 that arrives at 49.2 × 69.0 will not fit the frame you already stock.
  3. Weight per unit, and whether it is actual or volumetric in the freight table.
  4. MOQ per SKU, and separately the MOQ for the order as a whole. The second one is what usually decides the order size.
  5. Case pack, and whether it is a master carton or a mixed carton.
  6. The three wholesale tiers with the quantity break for each.
  7. Suggested retail price. Compare it to the wholesale tier you can actually reach — that spread is your margin.
  8. Lead time in business days, including the production window and not just the transit time.

What you can safely ignore on a first pass

Ignore the finish adjectives, the room photography, and the design story. They matter for your own marketing, but they are not decision inputs for a first order. The design story can also be written for you later — every SKU on our line sheet ships with copy you are free to rewrite.

Two red flags worth acting on

First: tiers where the middle break is only a few units above the MOQ. That usually means the pricing was set for appearance rather than for a real production run. Second: a lead time quoted without stating whether it starts at order or at production. Those are the two questions worth asking before you sign off.

If a supplier will not publish all eight fields, they are asking you to buy on trust. That is a legitimate way to run a first order, but it should be a small first order.
